Mideast Travel Worldwide was announced Europe’s Leading Destination Management Company for the 6th consecutive year at the 30th World Travel Awards (WTA) held in Batumi, Georgia.

The company was also honored for the fourth time as Greece’s Leading Travel Management Company.

Mideast Travel’s Managing Director, Katerina Mousbeh, and General Manager, Maria Mousbeh, received the two awards during the WTA Europe Gala Ceremony that was held recently in Batumi, Georgia.

“We are truly grateful for these two awards, which are the result of hard teamwork and excellent cooperation based on respect and ethics. We owe a big thank you to the Mideast Travel team, without whom we would not be here today, and to all those who have trusted us over the years and motivated us to be better,” said Katerina Mousbeh during her acceptance speech.

This year, the company’s success at the WTA coincides with its 40th anniversary.

Established in 1983 as a family business, Mideast Travel Worldwide is today among the top travel providers in Greece. The company offers its services worldwide from its head office in Athens as well as from its branches in Istanbul and on Mykonos.

In 2022 Mideast was announced “World’s Leading Destination Management Company (DMC)” at the WTA Grand Final.

Hailed as the “Oscars” of the global tourism industry, the World Travel Awards aims to award excellence in the tourism sector. During this year’s European Gala, a number of Greek tourism-related businesses shined and won awards.
