Of the 149 registered Greek individuals, 81 that participated in two organized tours, on Sunday departed at 21:30 from Ben Gurion Airport on a scheduled El Al flight directly to Athens. “The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through the Embassy of Greece in Tel Aviv and the Consulate General in Jerusalem, maintains constant contact with Greek visitors currently in the region,” according to an announcement by the ministry. Greece stands with Israel and is deeply concerned by this unacceptable escalation of violence,” the ministry said.
