According to the cruise line, the ship will offer cruise travelers their next “revolutionary vacation”. Following the debut of “Icon of the Seas”, Royal Caribbean is set to unveil the “Star of the Seas” in less than 100 days, marking it as the go-to vacation destination for the summer of 2025. According to the cruise line, the Icon Class lineup represents a revolutionary shift in vacation experiences, encompassing beachfront retreats, luxury resort getaways, and thrilling theme park adventures. “Star of the Seas” is poised to continue this trend with a wide range of new experiences, pushing the boundaries of cruising. Photo source: Royal Carribean International. “Icon of the Seas” offers a unique lineup of attractions, featuring record-breaking waterslides, pools, a family-friendly neighborhood, diverse entertainment options, and numerous dining venues. ‘Star of the Seas’ is expected to follow suit, catering to various tastes and preferences. In line with Royal Caribbean’s commitment to environmental sustainability, “Star of the Seas” will be the cruise line’s third ship powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG), combining clean-burning marine fuel with advanced environmental programs onboard. This marks a significant step in the journey toward introducing a net-zero emission cruise ship by 2035. Currently under construction in Turku, Finland, the “Star of the Seas” new ship and its features will soon be revealed.
