As part of its ongoing expansion plan, IOGR Group, owner of Greek airline Sky Express, announced that it would be acquiring multi-room hotel units at destinations with air connectivity. The group said it would be doing so through its partner, Greek hotel management and consulting group HotelBrain. The strategic goal, said IOGR, is to develop and offer a comprehensive and high quality tourism product. “The acquisition of large-volume hotel units has now been included in our immediate priorities,” said IOGR Group Founder & Chairman Ioannis Grylos. “Our goal is to strengthen synergies that contribute to even greater added value for the overall tourism product.” IOGR Group Founder & Chairman Ioannis Grylos. Voula-based HotelBrain boasts more than 100 hotels in its portfolio and hopes to achieve 100 million euros in turnover this year.
