The Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) recently made its debut appearance at the two-day ATAS (Association of Touring and Adventure Suppliers) B2B workshop in Liverpool, UK, signaling Greece’s aim to attract British travelers seeking adventure tourism experiences. Held during October 10-11, ATAS brought together the very best suppliers in the touring and adventure travel industry aiming to raise the sector’s profile and help travel agents develop their expertise and boost their sales. In a bid to introduce Greece’s diverse tourism offerings to the British travel market, the GNTO sponsored the reception event on the workshop’s opening day. This event featured a blend of Greek music, gastronomy and immersive workshops that introduced the world of Greek olive oil and wines, giving UK travel agents and tour operators an authentic Greek experience. The GNTO also distributed promotional material to travel agents, showcasing the diverse appeal of Greek destinations. Photo source: GNTO.
