The NEW Hotel in Athens this month debuted its new weekend brunch menu to be served Saturday-Sunday from 12pm to 5pm.

Guests will be in for a real treat as the updated menu features a variety of Greek-inspired dishes, as well as popular brunch items such as pancakes, freshly baked pastries, and the popular “smashed beef burger” made with American Angus.

Executive chef Babis Kountouris has crafted a menu that highlights the best of Greek cuisine, using fresh, seasonal ingredients.

Highlights of the new brunch menu include:

  • French toast made with traditional caramelized ‘tsoureki’, blueberries and honeycomb;
  • Greek doughnuts (‘loukoumades’) served with vanilla ice cream with raisins marinated in cognac;
  • tomato scrambled eggs ‘kagiana’ with smoked pork and  feta cheese; and
  • a diverse selection of salads, sandwiches, and smoothies.

In addition to the food, the NEW Hotel’s brunch time is also known for its lively atmosphere in a setting with a stunning design. The hotel’s spaces were created by Brazil’s top design duo, the Campana brothers, who are known for their novel technique in contemporary design. At the NEW Hotel, they prioritized the use of recyclable materials, which they called upcycling.

The NEW Hotel is located in a privileged spot between Athens’ traditional Plaka district and its modern commercial center, serving as a bridge between the city’s historical and modern sides. This makes it the ideal place to enjoy a quick city center escape and indulge in a delicious brunch.

It is recommended to make reservations for brunch (Saturday-Sunday, 12:00-17:00) at the NEW Hotel.

The NEW Hotel is part of the YES! Hotels Group, which also includes the Semiramis Hotel, Periscope Hotel, and NOŪS in Santorini. The group was created to offer a new and vibrant hospitality experience, integrating art into the concept.

All of the hotels in the YES! Hotels Group are designed to reflect the local culture and environment.
