Prebookings for the October 28 OXI Day national holiday weekend are on the rise in Greece, with strong demand this year for winter destinations mainly in Arcadia in the Peloponnese.

More specifically, reservations for Dimitsana, Vytina and Stemnitsa for the three-day weekend are at 95 percent, 85 percent and 95 percent respectively, with going rates for the three days from 310 euros to 705 euros for full apartments.

Analysts expect occupancy levels at most of the popular destinations to reach 85 to 95 percent, similar to last year’s levels. Prebookings under review concern listed short-term Airbnb-style rentals in these areas and not hotels.
