New Michelin Stars Awarded to Three Athens Restaurants

Three more restaurants in Athens were awarded prestigious Michelin stars last week establishing the Greek capital as one of the world’s leading gastronomy destinations.

The Athens Michelin Guide 2023 awarded stars to Hervé, Tudor Hall and Patio.

In the lead with two stars in the Athens Michelin Guide 2023 is Delta Restaurant at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) in Faliro led by chefs George Papazacharias and Thanos Feskos.

Athens restaurants that keep their one Michelin star in 2023 are The Zillers, Soil, Spondi, CTC, Hytra, Botrini’s, Pelagos and Varoulko Seaside.

One star has also been awarded for the first time to Hervé and chefs Hervé Pronzato and Grigoris Kikis, Patio of The Margi hotel run by chef Panagiotis Giakalis, and to Tudor Hall of the historic King George Hotel headed by Asterios Koustoudis and Nikos Livadias.

‘Green’ Michelin stars for sustainable best practices were awarded this year to Delta, Soil and Patio restaurants in Athens.

And lastly, in the Bib Gourmand category rewarding quality and value for money, stars went to five restaurants including first-timers Jerár and Fine Mess.

Overall, Athens Michelin Guide 2023 singled out 31 restaurants in the Greek capital for exceptional cuisine.

The first edition of the Michelin Guide Athens was officially presented in Greece last September.
