Costa Navarino, situated in the picturesque Peloponnese region of Greece, won several distinctions at the World Golf Awards 2023 ceremony held recently in Abu Dhabi.

In its 10th year, the event served as a grand gathering, uniting luminaries, pioneers, and influential figures from the world of golf. The occasion recognized the finest golf establishments and marked the culmination of a year-long quest to identify the world’s most beloved golf tourism and hospitality brands.

Under the ownership of TEMES SA, Costa Navarino clinched two prestigious titles for 2023: World’s Best Golf Venue and Europe’s Best Eco-Friendly Golf Facility.

At the national level, Costa Navarino and its International Olympic Academy Golf Course were heralded as Greece’s Best Golf Course of 2023. Additionally, the Westin Resort Costa Navarino was also honored with the title of Greece’s Best Golf Hotel 2023.

“Abu Dhabi hosted a magnificent gathering of the global golf tourism industry to mark our 10th anniversary of recognizing excellence in golf tourism. We have had the privilege of recognizing the leading golf courses, hotels, resorts, designers and tour operators from across the world and my congratulations to each of them,” said World Golf Awards Managing Director Chris Frost.

Launched in 2014, World Golf Awards aims to drive up standards within the golf tourism industry by rewarding the organizations that are leaders in their field.

Votes are cast by professionals working within the golf industry and by the public (golf tourism consumers).
