The multi-year distribution agreement gives Sabre-affiliated travel agencies long-term access to Jet2.com content through the Sabre GDS (global distribution system). According to an announcement, Jet2.com has chosen Sabre at a “key time”, as the leisure airline has just launched its Summer Sun program for 2025, with over 16 million seats on sale to 46 destinations across Europe, the Mediterranean and Canary Islands from 11 UK airports. “Jet2.com’s ambitious goals and increased frequency and reach required a partner that would enable it to distribute its information globally, easily and efficiently,” said Alessandro Ciancimino, VP Airline Distribution at Sabre. Jet2.com already has programs on sale for Winter 23/24, Summer 24 and Winter 24/25 too, and is seeing strong demand across all seasons. The new agreement demonstrates Sabre’s commitment to supporting Jet2.com’s ongoing growth in the leisure travel market, as part of a long-term distribution model that benefits all members of the travel value chain. “We are delighted and honoured that Jet2.com has decided that we are an asset to its business objectives,” Ciancimino said.
