Thessaloniki, Greece’s second-largest city, has unveiled a new video campaign to showcase its tourism offerings to younger generations of tourists and city break lovers. The campaign, titled “Vibing Thessaloniki,” highlights the city’s unique atmosphere, vibrant culture, and delicious cuisine. The campaign features three main videos, each of which focuses on a different aspect of Thessaloniki. The first video, “Street Food & Open Markets,” takes viewers on a food tour through the city, showcasing its diverse gastronomic identity. The second video, “Architecture,” welcomes viewers to explore the city’s eclectic architectural landscape, from well-preserved neoclassical structures to contemporary buildings and creative spaces. The third video, “Waterfront,” invites viewers to experience the city’s vibrant waterfront culture, from strolling and sunbathing to enjoying coffee and a bagel with a refreshing sea breeze. In addition to the three main videos, the campaign also includes six video reels that are specifically designed to appeal to younger viewers. These video reels, which will be advertised on TikTok and Instagram, are based on the “Vibing Thessaloniki” theme and want to catch the attention of online audiences by following social media patterns. The new Thessaloniki visual campaign was created and promoted by Marketing Greece with the cooperation of AEGEAN and the Thessaloniki Tourism Organization (TTO), as part of the Central Macedonia Tourism Partnership.
