Bulgaria is the honored country this year. Philoxenia will welcome Tourism Minister Zaritsa Dinkova heading a delegation with representatives from Varna, Bansko, Sofia and Veliko Tarnovo.

This year the Hellenic Hoteliers Federation (POX) will be presenting its new campaign titled “Mainland Greece” promoting the country as a winter destination.

Other events and sessions will focus on innovation and new technologies, tourism solutions, and startups in tourism. The Philoxenia Forum 2023 on November 11 (Stand 14) will focus on “Seeking Balance: Over-tourism – Circular Economy – Climate Change”.

Thessaloniki Tourism Organization (TTO) President Voula Patoulidou said the events will pave the way for new collaborations and synergies necessary to address the multiple challenges affecting the sector.

The Philoxenia expo, Hotelia and Real Estate Expo North will open on Friday (November 10) from 11am to 8pm, on November 11 between 10am and 8pm, and on Sunday (November 12) from 10am to 6pm.
