Radisson Continues to Expand in Greece, Announces New ‘Blu’ Resort in Mani

Radisson Hotel Group is continuing its expansion drive across Greece with the opening of a new hotel under its upper upscale Radisson Blu brand.

The fifth property with the Radisson Blu brand in Greece, the new 150-room hotel will be located in Mani, Lakonia, in the place of the former Hotel Lakonis, now owned by the Valiotis family. Following a full renovation, the new Radisson Blu Resort, Mani will open its doors in 2025.

“Our collaboration with the Radisson Hotel Group for the development of the first internationally recognized Radisson hotel in Mani, in the heart of the Peloponnese, is particularly honourable,” said Katerina Valioti, Managing Partner of the hotel’s ownership and development companies.

The Radisson Blu Resort, Mani will offer guests a wide variety of accommodation options, including standard rooms with private outdoor terraces with sea views, as well as suites – including a presidential suite – most with access to private pools.

Radisson’s Vice President Development Elie Milky said the Group is committed to expanding its presence in Greece, especially focusing on central cities and tourism destinations.

“The idyllic location of Radisson Blu Resort in Mani will impressively complement our portfolio in the wider region, with Radisson Blu maintaining its position as the largest high-end hotel brand in Europe,” he said.

The new Radisson Blu resort will be located near some of the most interesting archaeological sites in Greece, such as the castle of Mystras and Monemvasia.

Less than 3 hours from the Athens International Airport and less than 2 hours from the Kalamata International Airport, the Radisson Blu Resort in Mani will include an all-day restaurant, a restaurant with a terrace by the sea and a pool bar. It will also have an indoor wellness center. The hotel’s facilities will include fully equipped conference rooms and event centers for the hosing of business meetings.
