RAF-AVIA is a passenger and cargo airline that was established in 1990. Based in Riga, Latvia, it is the biggest and one of the oldest freighters and passenger carriers in the Baltics operating regular and ad hoc charter flights in the region and all over Europe.

In a company statement, Zela Aviation’s chairman, Andreas Christodoulides, said he was delighted to support and do business with RAF-AVIA, adding that the aircraft can be based in South Europe including Greece.

“We are familiar with RAF-AVIA as an airline for many years, thus this is good for both businesses as it will improve our collaboration and relationship,” Christodoulides said.

The SAAB 340 will be available for charter and ACMI projects.

Established in 2006, Zela Aviation is active in the field of aircraft wet / dry leasing, chartering and aircraft sales. With offices in Cyprus, Greece and the United Kingdom, Zela Aviation provides a range of services for its clients in Europe, Asia, Africa, North and South America.
