Air Travel ITA Airways: New Rome Fiumicino – London City Flight with 12 Weekly Frequencies by GTP editing team 15 December 2023 written by GTP editing team 15 December 2023 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 28 ITA Airways has announced the launch of a new nonstop flight between Rome Fiumicino (FCO) and London City Airport (LCY), in response to significant demand from leisure and business customers of the two capitals. The route, served with the new Airbus A220-100, will be operated from April 1, 2024, with 12 weekly frequencies. Moreover, the company will open for sales a fifth frequency between Milan Linate and London City, scheduled to be operated in the summer season from April 10, 2024. The service will increase the weekly frequencies between Milan and London City to 31. The additional service will also be operated with an Airbus A220-100. According to ITA Airways, the UK proves to be an even more strategic market thanks to the daily connections between London and its hubs of Rome Fiumicino and Milan Linate operating in the British market in the upcoming summer season. The new connections in the UK market can be purchased on all ITA Airways sales channels, via the official website, the company’s call center, travel agencies and airport ticket offices.
