The announcement follows Hilton’s signing of a franchise agreement with Tsiledakis S.A. “It is our great pleasure to join forces to bring the first Tapestry Collection by Hilton hotel to Greece,” Lambros Tsiledakis, owner of Tsiledakis SA, said. “This modern and unique property will appeal to travelers looking to explore Chania’s rich history and vibrant cultural heritage, and we look forward to welcoming guests all year round.” The Chania Flair Boutique Hotel opened its doors following an extensive renovation and joined a global portfolio of 115 Tapestry Collection by Hilton properties in 15 countries, including France, the United Kingdom, Italy, Spain and Portugal. Known for their colorful and unique style, each Tapestry Collection by Hilton hotel encourages guests to immerse themselves in the destination through unique experiences while enjoying high-level hospitality. “Following recent openings on Santorini, Crete and Rhodes, this impressive boutique hotel further diversifies our portfolio in the market and offers yet another amazing choice for visitors to the Greek islands,” said Andreas Koukas, Hilton Greece and Cyprus development director. The addition of the Chania Flair Boutique Hotel to Hilton’s portfolio marks its first year-round hotel on Crete, allowing the hotel company to cover a wider segment of the market. “Crete is one of the busiest destinations in Greece, and we look forward to welcoming both business and leisure travelers there,” Koukas said. Located in Nea Chora, the Chania Flair Boutique Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, has 34 elegant rooms, with contemporary urban design.
