Flights will operate up to five times a week throughout the busy summer season from May 30, 2024, until October 26. According to an announcement, the new service is poised to meet the surging demand among American travellers seeking a seamless, direct and affordable convenient travel solution to Greece. “We believe this route will not only cater to the demand for travel to Greece but will also create opportunities for cultural exchange and business collaborations between these two vibrant destinations,” said Bjorn Tore Larsen, CEO and founder of Norse Atlantic Airways. According to Papadopoulou, the US has traditionally been the most dynamically developing market for Athens and especially in 2023, passenger numbers between the Greek capital and all US destinations have been soaring, demonstrating double digit increases vs the pre-pandemic era, with New York topping the list. “We are absolutely certain that the route will be a tremendous success, as passengers will enjoy the excellent product offered by Norse Atlantic Airways,” she said.
