Thessaloniki’s decorated squares, illuminated boats of the Thermaikos Gulf, Christmas delicacies, open-air feasts, groups of friends spotted everywhere and the warm smiles of the locals create an attractive mix of a city, which is full of life, fun and happy faces. “Exactly what everyone is looking for during the holiday season,” the Thessaloniki Tourism Organization says. The central video of the campaign, which is shown in 10 countries, sends the message that Thessaloniki is the ideal choice for all those who wish to visit a Christmas city break destination. As the city’s tourism organization puts it: “Thessaloniki is the city where you build memories and are filled with emotions that you will remember throughout your life.
