The northern port city ranked second in terms of quality/price with a score of 87 percent after Istanbul (90 percent). Completing the Top 5 in the category were Izmir (86 percent), Rome (83 percent) and Athens and Bologna (81 percent). Greece: General online reputation score – 86% More specifically, according to ReviewPro data assessed by INSETE, Greece received a score of 86 percent in the Global Review Index (GRI), a general online reputation score for an individual hotel, group of hotels or chain, based on data taken from major online travel agencies and review sites. The country’s 5-star hotels received 90 percent, the highest score. Travelers awarded the region of Epirus with the highest satisfaction scores in November. Following in second place Turkey with 89 percent, Cyprus, Italy and Spain with 88 percent, and France with 83 percent. Hotels in Greece were ranked in the Top 5 in June, August and September last year. Hotels in Turkey took the lead in terms of quality/value with a score of 87 percent, followed by Greece and Cyprus in second place with 86 percent, Spain and Italy (82 percent) and France (78 percent). Greece came in second in the food-drink category with a score of 85 percent, third in the room index (85 percent) and in cleanliness (89 percent), and fifth in terms of location (89 percent).
