Air Travel Greek Islands to See More Flights from Manchester in Summer 2024 by Jet2 by GTP editing team 4 January 2024 written by GTP editing team 4 January 2024 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 13 Jet2.com and Jet2holidays on Thursday announced another expansion of their summer 2024 program from Manchester Airport and will operate over 340 weekly flights during peak periods to 58 sun and city destinations. “We are seeing strong and sustained demand for summer 24 across the board, with flights and holidays proving very popular from Manchester Airport,” Jet2.com and Jet2holidays CEO Steve Heapy said. “As the UK’s largest tour operator, we have reacted quickly to that demand by adding extra capacity to a host of sunshine favorites from the airport.” Additional flights and holidays will be sold to the tour operator’s most popular destinations across the Canary Islands, Mainland Spain, Bulgaria, Greece and Italy. With regard to Greek destinations, the additional flights and holiday going on sale for Summer 24 from Manchester Airport are as follows: – Corfu – additional Wednesday services from July 24 to September 4. The extra seats boost the weekly departures from Manchester to Corfu to 10. – Crete (Chania) – extra Monday flights from July 22 to September 2. Weekly departures: 4. – Crete (Heraklion) – additional Friday services from July 5 to September 27. Weekly departures: 10. – Kos – extra Thursday services from July 18 to September 26. Weekly departures: 8. “By adding additional services to popular summer destinations, we are giving customers exactly what they want, and we know just how much they will be jumping at the chance to get away,” Heapy said. The tour operator has also added extra seats to Lanzarote, Alicante, Bulgaria (Bourgas), Sardinia and Reus for summer 2024. With over 3.8 million seats on sale from Manchester Airport in summer 2024, this represents nearly 100,000 more seats compared to summer 2023 and is the companies’ biggest ever summer program to operate from the airport.
