Zeus International Hotels and Resorts is expanding its European presence with acquisitions in Italy and Greece.

The hotel group on Tuesday announced that it acquired the Dolce Milan Malpensa hotel in Milan and the Lazart Hotel Trademark Collection by Wyndham in Thessaloniki from PRODEA Investments. Zeus International already had the lease for both hotels. In addition, the group acquired a five-story property in Athens also from PRODEA Investments.

According to a company announcement, the acquisitions are part of the group’s strategy to expand into privately owned hotels in Greece and Europe, as well as managing properties under long-term lease or with third-party owners, thereby demonstrating its commitment to improving asset performance.

With the completion of the acquisitions, Zeus International will see the number of privately-owned hotels in its portfolio rise to 9 out of the total of 20 hotels .

Haris Siganos, the company’s founder and Managing Director, said the increase in the number of privately-owned hotels marks an important milestone in the group’s journey and bolsters its expansion in the European market.

“These new additions to the company’s portfolio demonstrate our dedication to the advancement and development of tourism and hospitality in Greece and abroad. We will always be dedicated to promoting authentic hospitality through Zeus International’s experience and know-how,” Siganos said.
