The awareness-raising drive will also be addressed to medical doctors so that they can prescribe vaccination to their patients, he added. Greek Health Minister Adonis Georgiadis. Georgiadis also announced that fines introduced two years ago for seniors who did not get vaccinated would be lifted. Meanwhile, free rapid tests are being carried out at 176 points around Greece. According to the health ministry, 90 patients infected with Covid-19 were admitted to ICUs (intensive care units) over the past few weeks the majority of whom had not been inoculated with the updated vaccine.
