The Greek travel agency, renowned for its expertise in corporate, leisure travel, and event services, has decided to continue its partnership with Sabre and integrate Sabre Virtual Payments (SVP) and Automation Hub into its suite of services to elevate its offerings. SVP’s implementation promises streamlined payment operations featuring enhanced security, greater efficiency, cost management, and simpler reconciliation. Concurrently, Automation Hub is set to enhance customer service by automating repetitive tasks, boosting efficiency, and accuracy, and potentially saving up to 70 percent of travel agent time. These developments are expected to improve travel expense control, lessen administrative workload, and advance travel management practices. “Integrating cutting-edge technology has been key to enhancing our operational efficiency and broadening our market footprint at Kyvernitis Travel Group,” the company’s CEO, Christos Kyvernitis, said. “This strategic initiative has enabled us to deliver exceptional customer experiences and affirm our position as a top travel agency in Greece.” According to an announcement, Kyvernitis Travel Group in 2023 experienced noteworthy success, largely thanks to advanced automation tools from Sabre. These advancements have reinforced their collaborations with prominent organizations like American Express Global Business Travel and the Hogg Robinson Group. Kyvernitis also recorded a significant upsurge in business volumes, especially in the Marine and Offshore sector, showcasing its increasing proficiency in specialized travel areas. “Sabre’s growth and expanding influence in Europe demonstrate our dedication to supporting travel agencies,” Andreas Syrigos, Regional Senior Director for Southern Europe & Nordics at Sabre Travel Solutions, said. “Our partnership with Kyvernitis Travel Group illustrates how our innovative solutions not only foster agency development but also solidify our standing in the European travel sector.” Sabre is represented in Greece by Sabre Hellas.
