Air Travel Greek Airlines Make Changes to Flights to/from Heraklion Airport Due to Upgrade Works by GTP editing team 5 February 2024 written by GTP editing team 5 February 2024 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 16 Greek airlines’ AEGEAN and SKY express on Monday announced cancellations and changes to flight schedules to and from Heraklion Airport “Nikos Kazantzakis” between February 19-24. Heraklion Airport will shut down during those five days due to upgrade works on the runway. AEGEAN AEGEAN has arranged additional flights both to/from Chania Airport (2 daily additional flights), as well as to/from Sitia (1 daily additional flight), which will be operated with an Airbus 320. Flights to and from Heraklion and Thessaloniki will be operated from Chania airport. Customers who hold tickets on affected flights will be notified by the airline or through their travel agencies. Travelers are advised to check the latest flight details by visiting AEGEAN’s website www.aegeanair.com. SKY express Customers of SKY express whose bookings are impacted by the temporary adjustments of the airline’s flight schedule will receive notification via e-mail. Additionally, for their convenience, affected passengers are encouraged to reach out to flightchange@skyexpress.com to explore alternative arrangements.
