Organized annually by the Union of Advertising and Communication Companies of Greece (EDEE), the awards embody the pinnacle of achievement for Greece’s marketing and communications industry. The organization’s two promotional videos “Greece: A Life-Changing Experience” and “ΟΤΤΟ, Greece. You will want to stay forever”, both part of Greece’s main “All you want is Greece” campaign to markets abroad won three awards. The GNTO’s co-marketing campaign with Aegean Airlines – “Explore Your Happy Place” – was honored with another three honors. According to the GNTO, the three promotional efforts received rave public reviews both in Greece and abroad. “At GNTO, we believe in creativity and the need for Greece to be promoted in an attractive way that truly touches the audience, beyond the usual approaches,” the organization’s secretary general, Dimitris Fragakis, said. The GNTO’s six awards in detail The promotional video “Greece: A Life-Changing Experience” that stars a redhead tourist who finds the meaning of life in Greece through a life-changing experience, won the gold award in the “Production of Promotional Films” category and the bronze in the “Promotional Films” category. “ΟΤΤΟ, Greece. You will want to stay forever”, which presents the story of a German who came to Greece for a holiday and was enchanted by the country, won the silver award in the “Promotional Films” category. The “Explore Your Happy Place” campaign won the gold award in the “Direct Marketing” category and two bronzes in the “Promo & Activation” and “Brand Experience” categories.
