AFEA’s founder and co-owner, Spiros Nikolakopoulos, said the two companies will be AFEA TRAVEL SA and AFEA CONGRESS SA. “After 47 years of uninterrupted operation and development, our company decided to invest in the field of specialization in the provision of service,” Nikolakopoulos said. AFEA TRAVEL SA, which will maintain the same corporate identity details, will continue to offer even more targeted and specialized services in the fields of corporate travel services, destination management (DMC), events and luxury travel, as well as in the leisure sector for inbound and outbound tourism The company will maintain its long-term cooperation with the International Air Transport Association (IATA). “Our new strategic planning includes the development of new innovative services, adapted to the constant changes and reshaped needs of the market,” he said, adding that the company’s partners will be soon be informed with further details. AFEA Travel and Congress Services had been operating in the MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences & exhibitions) and Corporate Travel industry since 1977, providing customers with integrated services.
