Athens-based inbound travel agency Yalos Tours had the chance to promote Greek destinations for 2024 during the three-day FestiVITAS trade show held at the Parc Expo in Mulhouse, France, earlier this month.

Specializing in the French-speaking market, Yalos Tours represented Greece with its own stand welcoming visitors and tour operators from Alsace, Strasbourg and Colmar.

At the same time, according to feedback gathered at the event, flights out of EuroAirport to six destinations in Greece and one in Cyprus have been finalized for 2024 making it one of the top French airports connecting with Greece. These are:

– to Athens four flights per week
– to Corfu two flights a week
– to Heraklion, Crete 10 flights per week
– to Kos four flights per week
– to Rhodes five flights per week
– to Thessaloniki three flights a week
– to Larnaca in Cyprus two flights per week.

During the event, Yalos Tours had the chance to meet with local tour operators and discuss the enhancement of their Greece programs with the inclusion of group, conference, and a la carte services.

Founded some 26 years ago, Yalos Tours also provides relevant info on programs, hotels and destinations in Greece on its site and facilitates some 3,000 partners to book online through its B2B platform offering access to more than 5,800 hotels in Greece and Cyprus.

Yalos Tours also announced that it inked a deal last week with a large French group operating some 200 tourist offices across France.

During the event, Yalos Tours in collaboration with EuroAirport held a lottery offering the winning couples trips to Greece. The winners received vouchers for free accommodation at Parnon Hotel (Athens),  Lucy Hotel (Halkida), Marmari Bay (Evia), Hotel Brain’s Anastasia Hotel on Crete, and Olympia Bay Grand Resort in Pieria.

According to feedback gathered at the event, Alsatians are repeat travelers and love the Greek islands.
