Aiming to further strengthen its position as a high level provider of wellness services in Southeast Europe, Aegeo Spas recently announced a strategic partnership with tourism marketing company Mindhaus.

A leading hotel spa and wellness center management company based on Crete, Aegeo Spas works with more than 220 four- and five-star hotels and resorts in Greece, Cyprus & Bulgaria.

The new partnership sees Mindhaus undertaking Aegeo Spas’ corporate communication strategy, operating its press office in Greece and offering consulting services. The aim of the collaboration is to promote the company’s leading position in the market of wellness and spa services, drawing inspiration from Greece and through its high knowledge of the hotel industry and of the markets that visit Greece.

Aegeo Spas provides high-quality services with deep expertise and commitment to Greek raw materials through specially designed service protocols, promoting Greece’s nature and culture to guests.

According to the company’s Team Leader, Zacharias Hnaris, travelers from Greek tourism’s leading incoming markets such as Germany, the United Kingdom, Poland and the US are frequent visitors to high-end hotels in popular tourism destinations, including Athens, Corfu, Crete, Kos, Santorini, Rhodes and Halkidiki that cooperate with Aegeo Spas.

Highlighting the great potential of wellness for Greek tourism, Hnaris said that almost 50 percent of spa revenues worldwide come from hotel spas.

“These figures confirm the need for further development of competitive services and wellness products in Greek hotels. In 2024 we plan to further strengthen our position as a very high level provider of wellness services in Southeast Europe with a focus on 220 locations. The expertise and experience of MINDHAUS will significantly support us in this direction.”

On his part, Mindhaus General Manager Theophilos Kyratsoulis underlined that the wellness centers and spas designed and managed by Aegeo Spas are included among the best in the world and in Europe every year.

“We believe that our collaboration with Aegeo Spas will be a springboard for its further emergence as a strategic player in the field of wellness in Greece and abroad,” Kyratsoulis said.

Established in 2007, Aegeo Spas has 1300 employees that provide signature treatments for physical and mental well-being. Aegeo Spas was named the Best European Luxury Spa Group at the World Luxury Spa Awards 2019 and announced the best Luxury Spa Group in Southern Europe for 2023.

Mindhaus is a subsidiary of V+O Greece, a multinational communications agency.
