The Athens Development and Destination Management Agency (ADDMA) of the City of Athens is changing its legal form to become a Local Government Development Organization.

According to an announcement, the change in status will allow ADDMA to create a new technical service.

“This will be an important tool for the maturation of technical projects that will be carried out by the City of Athens throughout the neighborhoods of Athens,” said ADDMA CEO Giannis Georgizas.

According to Georgizas, the new city administration is undertaking the initiative aiming to implement projects without delays while providing supervision at all steps of the process.

The new technical service is already filling staff positions in close cooperation with the technical service of the City of Athens and the Deputy Mayor for Infrastructure Andreas Grammatikoyannis. The new service is expected to begin operating in the coming weeks once formal procedures are completed.
