A Way of Life for Greek Jewelers” during the 36th Athens International Jewelry Show held at the Metropolitan Expo in Athens. With some 370 exhibitors from Greece, Italy, Cyprus, Turkey, India, Germany, Belgium and Estonia, and to illustrate the significance of jewelry in tourism, the show was inaugurated by Deputy Tourism Minister Elena Rapti. Photo source: GNTO Produced by the Panhellenic Federation of Silver- and Goldsmiths, Jewelers and Watchmakers and directed by Eirini Steirou, the short film aims to promote Greek jewelry and craftmanship and its connection with Greek culture to the world. Gerekou said jewelry-making offered tourists the chance to co-create experiences with local communities, adding that the GNTO can help promote small and medium-sized businesses and pledged to support Greek creators.
