With more than 250 exhibitors and over 2.500 wines and distillates, the wine trade exhibition will run during March 2-4 at the Zappeion Megaron. Showcasing Greek wines since 1994, Oenorama is the only place in the world that offers a complete overview of the Greek wine industry as well as productions of foreign origin. Photo source: Oenorama More than 10.000 Greek and foreign oenophiles are expected to attend this year and have the opportunity to taste wines from almost all of the country’s protected origin areas, including old and rare wines, obscure or forgotten varieties of vineyards, and various special wines made with unconventional or pioneering approaches. During Oenorama 2024, Greek winemakers will launch new wine productions on the market, while visitors can meet them at the special area “Tasting Gallery.” This year’s gallery theme is “New Releases,” featuring wines launched from January 2021 onwards. About 250 wines will be curated by a team of sommeliers who are there to ensure visitors receive high-quality services. Additionally, in the “Wine Bar” of the “Wine Revelations” room, guests will be served more than 60 wines that are either “natural” or from rare indigenous Greek varietals, all served and explained by a team of sommeliers. Furthermore, oenological equipment and supplies from selected companies will be on display in the Oenotechnica section at the show’s entrance. The official opening of Oenorama 2024 will take place on Friday, March 1, at a special invitation-only event at the Zappeion Megaron. Oenorama is co-organized by the wine communication company Vinetum and the online guide about food and hospitality FNL Guide.
