W Costa Navarino Launches New Season with Exciting Line-up of Events

W Costa Navarino kicks off the new season on May 3 with an exciting line up of events centered around music, wellness, sports, fashion, and gastronomy, designed to foster guests’ creativity, individuality and freedom of expression.

Greece’s first W Escape, located in Costa Navarino, the sustainably driven destination in southwest Peloponnese,  will host a series of events as of May, and continue throughout the summer, including celebrated Greek chefs cooking on open fire, exclusive wellness retreats, watersports festivals and renowned DJ sets.

W Costa Navarino introduces this season an enhanced proposition for guests staying in the suites and villas, with a range of new personalized experiences.

Additionally, the villas are ideal for small groups celebrating a special occasion, by offering customized services which include a personal chef and bartender, a complimentary private cinema experience or even an exclusive shopping tour at the Navarino Agora, the vibrant marketplace which is home to more than 20 shops offering luxury clothes, accessories, jewelry and more.

Villa and suite guests can also benefit from a private tour to discover the rich history and nature of the surrounding area, by visiting Gialova Lagoon – a Natura 2000 protected area- or spend a day at the historic site of Ancient Olympia to mark the Olympic year.

Greek Orthodox Easter celebration with Ex Machina

On 5 May – the day of the Greek Orthodox Easter – talented chef Adam Kontovas (Ex Machina restaurant), will be in residence at W Costa Navarino creating Greek specialties cooked over open flames, showcasing Kontovas’ culinary prowess. As Greece celebrates Easter Sunday, W Costa Navarino will host an exuberant beach party featuring a DJ and live act. 

Step into Spring boho-style

On 6 May, W Costa Navarino celebrates spring with a vibrant boho Cocktails Street Party taking place at Navarino Agora. Guests and locals will enjoy live music, while discovering the art of creating their own bespoke hand-tied bouquet using the freshest blooms and foliage. This flower celebration is accompanied by an exclusive cocktail-making workshop that showcases the mixologist’s imaginative expertise.

Mix Yoga and Sound Healing with DJ sets

From 30 May – 2 June, guests are invited to join an exclusive Sound and Wellness four-day retreat, uniting local and international experts in flow yoga, meditation, sound and crystal healing. Guests can take part in sunrise yoga sessions accompanied by the soothing melodies of a harp, followed by a talented line up of DJs. As the sun sets, participants will experience the therapeutic sounds of acoustic music and soulful vocals during a revitalizing beach sound healing session. The climax of the retreat will be a high-energy electro sound healing party.

A weekend dedicated to fashion

On 8 – 9 June, W Costa Navarino will introduce a fashion-focused weekend. Handpicked clothing items, accessories, artwork, and an outfit rental service will be available, supporting small businesses that prioritize ethical choices and try to make a positive impact on our environment. 

Make a splash at the Watersports Festival

Join rejuvenating SUP yoga sessions and compete in SUP races during W Costa Navarino’s inaugural watersports festival, taking place from 21 – 24 June at Navarino Watersports by Moraitis. Guests will also be able to try out wing-foiling and wakeboarding, while a dynamic DJ set will create the right party atmosphere throughout the festival.

A mixology feast

From 5-7 July, W Costa Navarino will come alive with a celebration of mixology.  The three-day festival will see cocktails take center stage, by showcasing the talents of renowned mixologists alongside performances by music artists. The Clumsies, The Bar In Front of The Bar and 42, all ranking amongst the World’s 50 Best Bars, will treat guests to a selection of their signature cocktails.

Six chefs harnessing the power of open flames

On selected dates between 12 July and 8 August, an impressive line-up of renowned Greek chefs featuring Fotis Fotinoglou (FITA), Pavlos Kiriakis (Gallina Athens), Nikos Thomas (SIMUL), Alexandros Tsiotinis (CTC) and Kleomenis Zournatzis (Seychelles), will introduce a unique gastronomic experience. Using locally foraged ingredients, the chefs will cook over fire in open-air kitchens and prepare a dinner al fresco. The chefs will use fire in a variety of innovative ways such as chargrilling, ember roasting, a la plancha cooking, spit roasting, and barbecuing – all blended with special culinary techniques to create an unrivaled culinary masterpiece. 

Electro DJ line-up

In July and August, guests will immerse themselves in the summer vibe with an electro lineup of local and international DJ sets. World renowned DJs such as Chris Bekker as well as up-and-coming names from the Greek electronic scene promise exhilarating music sessions from sunset to late-night.

W Costa Navarino marks the debut of W Hotels in Greece. The Escape, exclusively for adults and young adults over 12 years old, brings contemporary design and inspiring energy to the Navarino Bay area.
