The video, named “Athens Riviera, Greek Summer with a Twist”, highlights the competitive advantage of the proximity of the city center to the coastal line of Athens – known as the Athenian Riviera – and showcases the multitude of experiences that visitors can have. Focusing on the uniqueness of the Greek summer, the video motivates travelers to discover an unexpected side of the European metropolis and add something extra to their vacation. However, the misfortune turns into an opportunity as she gets to know the Athenian Riviera, located in the west part of Attica, starting from Paleo Faliro and going all the way to Cape Sounion, some 60km down the coast. There, she dives in the sea, strolls on the beach, samples Greek gastronomy with friends, and experiences moments of relaxation under the famous sun of the Greek summer. Founded in 2013, Marketing Greece is a private sector initiative, whose shareholders include the Greek Tourism Confederation (SETE), the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels, and the Hellenic Association of Communication Agencies. The non-profit organization was established to promote tourism in Greece.
