The UK leisure airline and tour operator has announced up to 27 weekly flights to 16 popular destinations across the Canary Islands, Balearic Islands, Turkey, Greece, Spain, Portugal and Madeira on sale from Bournemouth Airport during summer 2025, Jet2’s first summer of operations from Bournemouth Airport. With regard to Greek destinations, Jet2.com will be offering weekly flights to Heraklion (Tuesdays), Rhodes (Tuesdays) , Zakynthos (Thursdays) and Corfu (Wednesdays). “We know that our award-winning flights and holidays will be enormously popular across the region, and we cannot wait to show everyone what we are all about,” Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said. The inaugural flight from Bournemouth Airport will depart to Tenerife on April 1, 2025. In summer 2025 two based aircraft will fly holidaymakers from Bournemouth Airport on their package holidays with Jet2holidays and leisure flights with Jet2.com. This latest expansion comes just days before Jet2.com and Jet2holidays start operations from Liverpool John Lennon Airport, a move which, according to Jet2, “has resulted in tremendous feedback and is expected to be replicated at Bournemouth Airport”, based on the years of demand for the company to start operations there. The company’s summer 2024 program to Greece from Liverpool Airport will include flights to Corfu, Heraklion, Kos, Rhodes (exclusive route) and Zakynthos (exclusive route).
