Athens’ Four Seasons Hotel Named One of Greece’s Best Workplaces for Women

The Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens has been named as one of Greece’s Best Workplace for Women (2024) by Great Place to Work, the global authority on workplace culture.

Included on the list of the authority’s Greek branch, Best Workplaces for Women Hellas 2024, the Four Seasons Astir Palace was recognized as a leading business that promotes and supports female entrepreneurship.

Only those businesses that achieve the highest scores after participating in the annual work environment survey Trust Index and following evaluations of employee survey responses receive “Best Workplace” status.

The hotel’s certification was based on anonymous evaluations by their employees who answered a questionnaire provided by Great Place to Work Hellas. The answers of women employees were related to individual questions related to gender treatment in the company, equal pay, opportunity for advancement and promotions, ability to take leave when needed, and work-life balance.

“Keeping our employees happy and satisfied is a key objective of the company, which is confirmed every year by the fact that 80% of our seasonal staff trust us and return to work,” said Lillian Lampropoulou, Human Resources Manager at Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens.

With its inclusion on Great Place to Work’s list of the Best Workplaces for Women Hellas 2024, the Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens shines as a hotel recognized for its dedication to creating an equal and safe environment where women are encouraged to evolve as professionals with the company’s support and through offered opportunities for growth.

“With this commitment to the female community and the professional development of women, the Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens maintains its position as a pioneer in the field of hospitality and contributes to the strengthening of the female presence in the workplace,” the hotel’s management said in an announcement.

It should be mentioned that the Four Seasons Astir Palace in early March launched the “Monthly Flow Friendly Workplace” program 2024, which saw the placement of 100 percent organic produce dispensers in the hotel to ensure that all female employees have access to the items they need.

“The hotel’s goal is to encourage open communication about such issues and create an equitable gender-sensitive work environment where everyone feels comfortable,” the hotel’s quote said in the “Best Workplaces for Women” report.
