Already available for booking, Heraklion-Larnaca direct flights will begin from May 16 and operate three times a week with Airbus A320neo aircraft. According to a company announcement, the new route confirms SKY express’ strategic decision to make Heraklion a hub with an extensive network including 28 international destinations in 11 countries – Cyprus, Belgium, France, Germany, Denmark, the Netherlands, Romania, Poland, Serbia, Slovakia and Moldova, and constantly reinforce it. Heraklion: 2024 flight schedule SKY express’ upgraded flight schedule for Heraklion is as follows: – up to five daily flights throughout the year to/from Athens – daily flights all year round to/from Thessaloniki – daily flights to/from Rhodes – three flights per week to/from Larnaca – two flights per week to/from Nea Anchialos – three flights per week to/from Brussels – four flights a week to/from Paris – two flights per week to/from Nantes – two flights a week to/from Marseille – two flights a week to/from Lyon – one flight a week to/from Lille Moreover, SKY express is planning to launch a morning Heraklion-Athens flight to facilitate connections to other European destinations of its network, so travelers can avoid long waits in Athens as well as the need for overnight stays. The airline will also boost interconnection with other countries through interline partnerships with leading airlines. SKY express flies all year round to the largest network of domestic destinations, to 33 airports. The number of international destinations increases to 15 in Europe during the summer. In 2023, SKY express carried approximately 4.3 million passengers. The airline has reinforced its fare types (SKY joy, SKY joy+, SKY enjoy) with the addition of BLISS, the company’s Business Class. “BLISS” aims to redefine the passenger’s travel experience by offering: priority and comfort at every stage of the journey; access to VIP lounges in Heraklion, Athens and Thessaloniki; extra luggage; and high nutritional value meals. SKY express is the only Greek airline to receive two honors from the European Regions Airline Association (ERA) for its outstanding achievements in airline excellence and innovation.
