Greek carrier SKY express recently announced that it will welcome the summer season with the launch of a direct connection between Heraklion, Crete and Larnaca, Cyprus.

Already available for booking, Heraklion-Larnaca direct flights will begin from May 16 and operate three times a week with Airbus A320neo aircraft.

According to a company announcement, the new route confirms SKY express’ strategic decision to make Heraklion a hub with an extensive network including 28 international destinations in 11 countriesCyprus, Belgium, France, Germany, Denmark, the Netherlands, Romania, Poland, Serbia, Slovakia and Moldova, and constantly reinforce it.

SKY express’ upgraded flight schedule for Heraklion is as follows:

Moreover, SKY express is planning to launch a morning Heraklion-Athens flight to facilitate connections to other European destinations of its network, so travelers can avoid long waits in Athens as well as the need for overnight stays.

The airline will also boost interconnection with other countries through interline partnerships with leading airlines.

SKY express flies all year round to the largest network of domestic destinations, to 33 airports. The number of international destinations increases to 15 in Europe during the summer. In 2023, SKY express carried approximately 4.3 million passengers.
