Greece is among the top ten most in-demand babymoon destnations of 2024, according to a new global study by baby care company My 1st Years. The research, conducted by the company’s parenting experts, analyzed Google search data to reveal where expectant parents are looking to holiday before they welcome their new arrival, with Mexico, Ireland and the Bahamas topping the list. “Babymoons are a great opportunity to relax, unwind and make the most of your time together before the baby arrives,” said Gareth Chadwick, Head of Marketing at My 1st Years. Greece ranks 9th Greece ranked 9th at the list, with Mexico at the top as the most popular country overall, making it the number one choice for soon-to-be parents worldwide. The beautiful sights of Ireland and the sandy beaches of Bahamas placed them at the second and third spot respectively. Among the other destinations are the Maldives (4th), Italy (5th), Australia (6th), Portugal (7th), Costa Rica (8th) and the Caribbean (10th). According to the study, babymoons have become increasingly popular over the last few years. In the UK alone, searches for best babymoon destinations and where to go for a babymoon have increased by 128 percent over the last three months. Most popular babymoon cities of 2024 Hawaii. The analysis revealed Hawaii as the most anticipated babymoon destination for 2024. The Canadian city of Winnipeg is the second most popular babymoon city due to its different vibe, from unique shops and dining experiences in Chinatown to a more artsy and alternative scene in Osborne Village. Other cities on the list are: New York City, Las Vegas, Maui, Kauai, and San Diego in the US, Bali, Dubai and Paris. “Whether it’s escaping to a beach resort and soaking up the sunshine or squeezing in a jam-packed city break, there are so many options when it comes to enjoying the perfect last holiday as just the two of you,” he added.
