Destinations news Rodos Week: Platform for Free Stays on Rhodes Opens for Applications by GTP editing team 11 April 2024 written by GTP editing team 11 April 2024 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 29 Greece announced this week that a special platform accepting applications from travelers who were forced to flee Rhodes in July 2023 due to the destructive fires last summer was now operational. Dubbed ‘Rodos Week’, the program covers the cost of six overnight stays on Rhodes in spring from April 10 to May 31, 2024 and in or autumn between October 10 and November 15, 2024 for those meeting eligibility criteria. The program is open to all tourists who were evacuated from hotels on Rhodes when the fire broke out in July 2023. Eligible parties will be able to choose free accommodation at hotels in the same category listed on the platform and based on availability. The sums covered are as follows: – for 1-, 2- and 3-star hotels, up to triple room, 300 euros for the duration of the stay – for 1-, 2- and 3-star hotels, larger than a triple room, 400 euros for the duration of the stay – for 4- and 5-star hotels, up to triple room, 400 euros for the duration of the stay – for 4- and 5-star hotels, larger than triple rooms, 500 euros for the duration of the stay.
