Greek airline SKY express recently received two honors at the Marketing Achievement Awards 2024 for its strategic thinking, innovative action and efficiency regarding its Business Class product. Organized by Boussias Events, the awards honor companies and executives who make a difference with their marketing efforts. During the event, the airline’s revamped and modern Business Class, named BLISS, stood out among more than 100 nominations and was honored with: – the gold award in the category Best Marketing Strategy for Customer Experience/Loyalty – the bronze award in the category Best Marketing Strategy for a Sustainable Future “With a focus on personalized and quality service and sustainability, Bliss places the passenger at the center of every step of their travel experience,” SKY express said in an announcement. Bliss Business Class: Sustainable premium services While providing cutting-edge products and services catered to travelers’ demands, the airline maintains a significant value on sustainable practices. Bliss offers passengers priority in every stage of the journey, free entrance in the VIP Lounges, more checked-in luggage and kilos, fine dining choices from a premium menu, and entertainment during the flight, combining sustainability, leisure, and a sophisticated experience. In addition, the airline’s business class offers passengers the opportunity to choose before the flight not only the type of meal but also how not to consume it. That way, passengers participate through active actions in a more sustainable future by contributing to the effort to reduce food waste and energy waste for its production. Moreover, with sustainability at the center of its strategy, SKY express has renewed its fleet with new state-of-the-art aircraft that have a reduced environmental and noise footprint. SKY express is the only Greek airline to have won two awards from the European Regions Airline Association (ERA). The airline last October was honored for its outstanding achievements in airline excellence and innovation. SKY express also recently received three distinctions from Athens International Airport (AIA) for its 2023 performance on scheduled flights to and from the Greek capital. SKY express flies all year round to the largest network of domestic destinations, to 33 airports and carries out scheduled flights to 15 destinations in Europe. In 2023, SKY express carried approximately 4.3 million passengers.
