The two sides signed a memorandum of cooperation which among others foresees the development of scientific and research partnerships; the joint organization of scientific and other activities such as conferences and events; the implementation of educational and research activities; and the exchange of know-how. On its part, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts will submit proposals related to the labor market and the needs of the tourism market which can lead to the introduction of new subject areas and courses in the Hellenic Open University’s study program as well as the organization of communication and information activities on job market conditions and professional opportunities for the university’s graduates. “We are particularly pleased to be collaborating with the Hellenic Open University for the implementation of joint educational and research actions but also to highlight the prospects of the sector as an excellent professional choice for students,” said Vassilis Themelidis, regional director South & East Europe at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts. Themelidis went on to add that the agreement is mutually beneficial and will contribute to the further upgrade of skills on offer.
