Athens Medical Association Chairman George Patoulis has been re-elected president of the Greek Health Tourism Council – Elitour for a third term. The announcement was made after Elitour’s new Board of Directors was formed after the elections on Friday, April 12. “Health Tourism is one of the most important pillars of development of the Greek economy… Elitour is and will remain the largest cooperative force of Health Tourism operators in Greece and will continue to expand its great work, serving our national goal,” Patoulis said after his election. According to the association’s announcement, in the next period, two special secretaries, the executive committee and four other committees will be appointed to deal with specific issues related to health tourism.
