The Municipality of Athens has announced an Easter holiday program that will include activities – for both children and adults – inspired by Greek customs.

Set to begin on April 20, the activities will take place in several cultural venues of the city, such as the National Gallery, the Museum of Folk Art and Tradition “Aggeliki Chatzimichali,”  the Digital Museum of Plato’s Academy, and the “Melina” Cultural Center.

The program’s activities for families include painting, construction, theater and art education workshops, museum educational programs, and Easter activities that combine tradition with creation. Children and their parents will also have the chance to get to know the art of clay and ceramics. Adults can enjoy themselves with painting sessions and theatrical performances.

Organized by the City of Athens Cultural, Sport & Youth Organization (OPANDA), the activities are available after registration. Entrance is free. The Easter holiday program will wrap up on May 1.
