Greek pies on Sympossio 2024 menu The Sympossio gastronomy event this year was dedicated to Greek pies, “a special chapter of Greek gastronomy that has a rich history and a strong timelessness”. Greek pies were showcased in cities in the UK, Slovakia, Romania, the Czech Republic, Poland and Italy. At the Sympossio events, guests sampled Greek recipes prepared during interactive cooking courses and workshops under the guidance of the Executive Chef of Aldemar Resorts Group, George Hatzopoulos. Having managed to create some of the largest synergies between private and public entities, Sympossio 2024 had the support of AEGEAN Airlines, the Region of Western Greece, the Region of Crete, and the ELLA DIKA MAS initiative. Sponsors of this year’s event included Ilios Pasta Industry, Panagiotis Dakos Mills, Brintziki Estate, Voliotis Family A.E., and Douros Bio Farm. Sympossio was held under the auspices of the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) and the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels (HCH), having by its side hoteliers, trade businesses and local producers from different regions of Greece.
