The news comes exactly one month after Jet2 announced the sale of flights and holidays for 16 destinations across Europe, the Canary Islands, and the Mediterranean from Bournemouth Airport for summer 2025. The top five performing destinations from Bournemouth Airport are Antalya, Tenerife, Dalaman, Majorca and Rhodes, with the companies reporting strong sales to all 16 summer destinations from customers and independent travel agents. “From day one, and over the last four weeks, the response to our award-winning flights and holidays going on sale from Bournemouth Airport has been truly phenomenal, and we are delighted at how well the launch has been received,” Jet2.com and Jet2holidays CEO Steve Heapy said. Two destinations (Fuerteventura and Madeira) are exclusive from Bournemouth Airport. The inaugural flight from Bournemouth Airport will depart to Tenerife on April 1, 2025, and in summer 2025 two-based aircraft will fly holidaymakers from Bournemouth Airport on their package holidays with Jet2holidays and leisure flights with Jet2.com. Jet2 announced flights and holidays from Bournemouth Airport in response to years of demand from customers and independent travel agents in Bournemouth, Southampton, Portsmouth and the wider South of England region.
