Kalamata Among Air France’s 189 Destinations for Summer 2024

The city of Kalamata in the Peloponnese, southern Greece, is one of the 189 destinations that Air France will fly to this summer.

According to a company announcement, the French carrier is expanding its network in the summer of 2024 and continuing the rollout of new long-haul cabins.

The Paris-Kalamata connection is among the 45 seasonal routes Air France will operate in France and Europe as part of its short- and medium-haul schedule.

From July 9 to August 31, the French carrier will operate one weekly flight every Saturday to Kalamata from Paris on Airbus A319.

In addition to the Paris-Kalamata connection, Air France’s short- and medium-haul schedule will see launch new routes out of Paris-Charles de Gaulle to Verona, Italy and Narvik-Lofoten, Norway.

With regard to its long-haul schedule, the carrier is boosting capacity up by nine percent versus 2023 and will carry out flights to 85 destinations.

Come summer 2024, the airline will boost is presence in North America and resume flights to Minneapolis, Minnesota, with one daily flight.

Air France will also inaugurate a new direct service between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Phoenix, Arizona, three times a week aboard a Boeing 787-9.

Moreover, the airline will extend the direct service to Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina, it inaugurated in winter 2023, and up the number of weekly flights to seven, from three during the winter season.

This summer, Air France will fly to the United States over 210 times a week, serving a total of 17 destinations.

Rollout of new travel cabins aboard Boeing 777-300ERs and Airbus A350-900s continues

Air France’s ongoing refurbishment of its 777-300ERs and Airbus A350-900s with the latest long-haul cabins will continue throughout the summer. The new product will be available in Business, Premium Economy and Economy models.

After New York-JFK, New York-Newark, Washington DC, Boston, Houston, Rio de Janeiro, Bangkok, Dakar, Tokyo-Haneda, Hong Kong, Seoul-Incheon, Shanghai and Johannesburg, the new cabins will be introduced this summer on flights to Toronto, Chicago, Vancouver, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Papeete, Mexico and Tokyo-Narita.

Meanwhile, Air France – KLM Group’s low-cost subsidiary, Transavia France, will fly to 116 destinations in 33 countries via 206 routes.
