The Greek island of Chios is set to welcome its inaugural luxury wellness retreat, Pearl Island Chios Hotel & Spa, slated to open its doors to guests in July.

Managed by the Greek hospitality consulting company Modus & AmplioPearl Island aims to provide guests with a holistic wellness experience that celebrates the island’s nautical tradition, rich history, and natural beauty.

“This hotel, with its unique identity, addresses the island’s need for luxury accommodations and aspires to become a sought-after destination for travelers from around the globe,” Modus & Amplio said in an announcement.

Inspired by the architecture of Chios, the 5-star retreat has been adorned with earthy colors and natural materials, while indigenous plants have been carefully selected to decorate the exteriors, seamlessly blending the hotel with its picturesque surroundings. The design of the retreat, blending local techniques with modern elegance, was crafted by the esteemed architecture firm Ologramma Architects.

Pearl Island comprises 48 luxury suites, with some accommodations offering private pools. The retreat also features an exclusive restaurant, bar, conference room, cinema, and wellness spa staffed by a team of experts. Additionally, 16 swim-up suites surround the outdoor pool and in-pool bar, providing guests with convenient access via private terraces.

To ensure a high-quality dining experience, the retreat’s chefs will craft unique seasonal menus inspired by local cuisine with traditional Mediterranean influences, sourcing fresh ingredients from the island’s organic farms.

Additionally, the Magganos private dining area, accommodating up to 40 guests, will offer bespoke menus tailored to each guest’s preferences. These menus are complemented by curated wine and beverage selections.

Moreover, guests can unwind at two bars, where they can enjoy refreshing cocktails and upbeat DJ sets.

Pearl Island’s Wellness Hub & Spa, IREMIA, promises serene and rejuvenating experiences for both body and soul. The retreat’s team of experts employs only the finest products, techniques, and cutting-edge equipment during treatments.

At the retreat, guests can organize their special events with the assistance of Pearl Island’s dedicated team. Pearl Island’s facilities can accommodate up to 100 guests, and its chef can customize a menu to perfectly suit every event and culinary preference.
