Special gastronomy events and wine and mixology experiences await guests at the Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino, in Messinia this summer. From May 26 until mid-October, the hotel will organize a lineup of exclusive events featuring Michelin-awarded chefs, renowned sommeliers, and talented mixologists. Named “Stirring Stars”, the events will showcase Greek and international gastronomy and premium beverages as part of the dining experience. “The first Mandarin Oriental hotel in Greece starts its second year of operation dynamically, inviting its guests to indulge in sophisticated flavors,” the hotel’s management announced. “Starry Nights”: Gastronomy shines at Mandarin Oriental Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino, The Private Kitchen restaurant. At the hotel’s restaurant, “The Private Kitchen”, Mandarin Oriental’s executive chef Bertrand Valegeas and his team will welcome six renowned chefs to curate menus inspired by the international gastronomy scene. Michelin-awarded chef Hervé Pronzato inaugurated the “Starry Nights” on May 26 with a menu dedicated to fine dining. The program of “Starry Nights” will also include: – June 21 to 22: Dinner featuring a combination of tastes created by chefs Raphael Bouchez and Alexandre Bader. – July 21 to 22: Philip Chronopoulos, Executive Chef of Du Palais Royal in Paris and distinguished with 2 Michelin stars, promises a unique gastronomic experience with a French twist. – August 20 to 28: Italian chef Daniele Cason will indulge guests in the culinary secrets of Italy. – October 11 to 12: Begoña Rodrigo, the acclaimed chef from Spain, will introduce guests to impressive recipes that reflect her creativity. Battles of Navarino: High-quality beverage experiences Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino, Three Admirals Lounge. Enhancing the gastronomy journey, guests will savor special drinks and learn more about the art of mixology at the “Battles of Navarino” exclusive events arranged to take place at the “Three Admirals Lounge”. Guest mixologists and the hotel team will serve old-time classic cocktails as well as contemporary ones, while wine lovers will have the opportunity to taste some of the best varieties from the iconic Champagne Houses. “Battles of Navarino” highlights: – June 6: Nikos Ginargyros, a mixologist from Paxos Island, will be at the Mandarin Oriental to serve innovative cocktails able to satisfy even the most demanding guests. – June 12: A special evening with Louis Roederer and Master of Wine Konstantinos Lazarakis. – June 13: A battle dedicated to premium cocktails from World Class Bartender Christos Klouvatos. – June 20: Vassilis Mylonas, the Head Bartender of Scorpios Mykonos, presents cocktails inspired by his experience in premium beverages. – June 27: Thessaloniki will leave its mark at this battle, with the hip Gorilla Bar of the city serving some of its best cocktails with strong flavors. Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino, Three Admirals Lounge. – July 4: Line Athens, the favorite bar for cocktail lovers, ranked number 12 on the World’s 50 Best Bars list, will delight those who love subversive combinations. – July 11: Talented mixologist Achilleas Plakidas will host a night dedicated to the art of the good cocktail. – July 18: Konstantinos Ristanis, the creator of Spitaki Cocktail Bar, introduces signature cocktails from the beloved destination of Ioannina. – July 19 to 21: An evening in which the famous brand Metaxa will present some of its best spirits. – July 25: Alexandros Sourbatis, the award-winning cocktail master, composes proposals with premium spirits. – August 1: From Barcelona to Messinia, Two Schmucks, ranked number 7 on the World’s 50 Best Bars list, will offer its unique flavors. – August 8: Pietro Rizzo, Global Bar Consultant with many years of experience in the field, will recommend cocktails with original combinations and innovative techniques. “Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino promises a season full of unparalleled experiences in a lush Mediterranean landscape, offering a haven of relaxation and rejuvenation,” according to the hotel’s management.
