The minister went on to add that telemedicine contributes to the development of tourism enabling travelers to visit areas where access to medical services may be limited while ensuring immediate medical advice which may even include a diagnosis. “So they can feel safe and secure, which are important factors in choosing a destination,” she said. Telemedicine and improved technologies can also contribute to establishing Greece as a top medical tourism destination, attracting visitors from all over the world who are seeking high quality medical services combined with recreation and leisure in a safe and secure environment.
