Company updates HotelBrain Takes Over Former Hotel Nikopolis in Thessaloniki by GTP editing team 7 June 2024 written by GTP editing team 7 June 2024 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 38 HotelBrain, the largest hotel group in Greece, on Friday announced that it had reached an agreement with NIMTENKO S.A., owned by Telis Mystakidis, for the lease of the property formerly known as Hotel Nikopolis in Thessaloniki. The agreement, effective immediately, spans a duration of 10 years. The addition of the former Hotel Nikopolis to HotelBrain’s portfolio marks a significant expansion for the Group in Northern Greece. “We are particularly proud to add this iconic five-star hotel of Thessaloniki and Northern Greece to our portfolio,” HotelBrain Chairman and CEO Panos Paleologos said. The former 5-star Hotel Nikopolis features 99 rooms and is situated 8 km from the center of Thessaloniki and 3 km from the city’s “Macedonia” airport. The hotel had stopped operating in late March.
