The Kaiafas Thermal Spa is open from 9 am to 5 pm, every day, weekends included.

Ypati Thermal Spa

Located about 18 kilometers west of Lamia in Central Greece, the Ypati Thermal Spa stands out due to the special physicochemical composition of its water, which is rich in carbonic acid and hydrogen sulfide, creating a rare therapeutic combination.

The Ypati Thermal Spa has a large hydrotherapy center covering more than 2,600 square meters, which includes 80 baths of various categories, including baths for patients with severe skin diseases, multiple lounge areas, a 187-square-meter outdoor swimming pool, and a physiotherapy clinic.

The Ypati Thermal Spa is open from 9 am to 5 pm.

A doctor is always present at the thermal springs in Edipsos, Kaiafas, and Ypati. ETAD’s pricing policy includes special discounts for families and local residents, as well as reduced ticket prices for groups of more than 15 people.

Discounts can also be made to people with disabilities and their chaperones, as well as for unemployed individuals, students, soldiers, as well as during the low season.

According to the Greek Health Tourism Council – Elitour, thermal tourism is increasingly gaining interest worldwide due to its health benefits. Greece has a potential to become a leading player in the sector in this sector due to the quality and extensive number of its hot springs.
